Description
Peterborough Market Hall is a 120 year old facility which was the first home to the city’s market, and has been a centre for community and art events since 1984.

This major renovation was performed around occupied buildings and involved a complete demolition of the existing interior; reinforcing existing wood structure, adding new floors, several stairways and two new elevators, and complete new mechanical, electrical, sprinkler and fire alarm systems to bring the building up to code. To maintain historical elements, extensive restoration was carried out to the roof, masonry, original windows, and interior woodwork.

This new facility will boast a beautiful new Portico, reception and bar area, modern washrooms, sprung flooring, new stadium seating, meeting rooms, warm up and rehearsal areas, as well as a climate controlled room for the piano.
